The Meteorological Authority expected the hot wave to continue most of the Republic tomorrow, Sunday, as a very hot atmosphere prevails during the day on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the south of the country, with heat -wandering weather at night and early in the morning.
Meteorology reveals the weather tomorrow
The maximum temperatures are recorded between 39 and 43 degrees Celsius, reaching 38 degrees in Greater Cairo, and 43 degrees in southern Upper Egypt, while the tangible temperature in some areas is 45 degrees.
The authority warned of wind activity on areas of South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges and southern Upper Egypt, which may be sandy and dust, especially in the open areas of the west of the country and the north of Upper Egypt, which leads to a decrease in the level of horizontal visibility.
Meteorology indicated a disruption in the movement of maritime navigation on the Red Sea, where the wind speed ranges between (17.5 – 25) knots, and the height of the waves between (1.5 – 2.5) meters.
The commission called on citizens to be careful during the daytime hours, and avoid direct exposure to sunlight, especially during peak periods, while drinking fluids and wearing light cotton clothes.
It is expected that the temperatures will start gradually from Tuesday, May 27, in the north of the country, with values ranging from 8 to 9 degrees Celsius.
