The Khalifa International Prize for Dates and Agricultural Innovation Palm renewed its deep commitment to protecting date palm trees in the Maghreb, stressing the need to join international efforts to confront environmental and humanitarian challenges that threaten these unique environmental systems. This came during the participation of the award at the International Orex and Dates palm conference, which was held in the Moroccan city of Ouarzazate on May 22 and 23.
