Six Palestinians were killed at dawn today, and six others were wounded, in the shelling of the Israeli army on Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip. Palestinian medical sources told the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) that the Israeli bombing targeted homes and gatherings for the Palestinians, noting that the martyrs are children and women.
The agency said: “Among the dead are a citizen, his wife and two children from the family of the liberated prisoner, Munir Kann, as a result of targeting their apartment, near Al -Attar station in Khan Yunis. While 6 citizens were injured, including two serious injuries, as a result of the bombing of a tent west of the town of Al -Qarara.
The Israeli army continues to carry out operations to blow up homes and residential buildings in the city of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, and the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City.
In a related context, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) reported today (Sunday) that the humanitarian situation throughout the Gaza Strip exceeds imagination. “UNRWA”, in a post on its page on “X” today, said that “with the entire prohibition of supplies necessary to survive its ninth week, we must make concerted international efforts to stop this humanitarian catastrophe from reaching a new invisible level.”
More than two million Palestinians in Gaza face an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, as a result of the Israeli restrictions imposed on the entry of aid since the beginning of last March, after the collapse of the first phase of the armistice agreement that was signed under Egyptian, Qatari and American sponsorship last January.
