A source inside the Zamalek Club confirmed in exclusive statements to Cairo 24 that the player’s late financial dues are estimated at 73 million pounds that he has not yet received, which is completely incorrect.
The source added, that the value of the player’s contract is 55 million pounds, after deducting taxes and fees due to the state, and that the total value of the contract includes taxes and fees amounting to 84 million pounds, which was placed in the first item of the contract as a total of the value of the contract for the three seasons.
The source continued his statements that the player receives 15 million pounds in the first season, and 20 million pounds in each of the second and third season, according to the eighth item of special conditions, which ensures that the player gets the net value after deducting taxes and fees, in order to preserve his rights in the event of any future increases in tax rates.
The source continued, that the late dues of the player for Zamalek for the last season amount to 9 million pounds, before the deduction of taxes, the participation rate, and the advertising returns concluded by the player, which the club is entitled to 20%, and money will be deducted as a result of the player’s repeated absences.
The source added that this amount will remain suspended until it is decided by the competent authorities, in accordance with the regulations and laws regulating this matter.
The source concluded his remarks by emphasizing that the player and his agent are trying to raise crises, as he demands that the player consider the eighth item as “Bonus”, which is stated in his speech, neglecting that this item is merely an explanation of the value of the total contract after taxes, and not a separate item of rewards.
