The Egyptian club Zamalek announced, on Wednesday, that it received an official notification from the International Football Association (FIFA) to stop the registration due to the dues of Moroccan Khaled Boutayeb, the former team player.
Amr Adham, a member of the Zamalek Board of Directors, said in statements through the club’s media center, that the player has 983 thousand euros of his dues,
Especially since Zamalek paid a large amount of the player’s dues, which were estimated at about 2 million and 400 thousand euros.
He added: “Zamalek did not pay the remaining payments for the player in recent months, which resulted in the issuance of a decision to stop the registration again.”
He explained: “Zamalek will pay the rest of the player’s dues in the coming period and before the registration door was opened in the new season, and the cessation of the registration will be raised once the rest of the late dues of Khaled Boutayeb will be paid.”
