Today, Saturday, the Civil Protection Forces in Minya Governorate succeeded in controlling a huge fire that broke out in an agricultural area in the village of Mansour of the Matai Center, without any human losses.

The security services in Minya, led by Major General Magdy Salem, Director of Security, had received a report from the villagers stating that a huge fire broke out inside an agricultural plot, which sparked a state of panic among the neighboring residents, fearing the fire to the neighboring homes and farms.
Immediately, the Civil Protection Department pushed three fire engines, and managed to put out the fire.
Initial investigations revealed that the fire did not result in any human injuries, and the losses were limited to some crops. The fire site is currently being examined to estimate the size of the material losses and determine the reasons that led to its outbreak.
The necessary report was released from the incident, and the Public Prosecution office, which took over the investigation, was notified.
