Ikrami Heikal, the coach of the first team of the Zamalek Volleyball Club, “Women”, expressed his happiness to qualify for the semi-finals of the African Championship, which Nigeria hosted from April 1 to 14, after beating the Kenyan Commercial Bank team with a score of 3-0, in the meeting that brought the two teams Wednesday evening, in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Haykal said in statements to the media center of Zamalek Club: The team’s players performed a heroic performance against the Kenya champion, and the technical staff instructed the technical staff accurately before and during the match, which contributed to achieving the deserved victory.
Heikal added that the Commercial Bank team is one of the most prominent candidates to compete for the title, noting that the victory over it gives Zamalek a great moral boost to continue the journey towards achieving the championship and retaining the title.
It is scheduled that the first team of the Zamalek Volleyball Club “Ladies” will meet its Kenyan Pipeline team in the semi -finals of the tournament.
