In the world of technology, the competition is like a long queue in front of a popular bakery in Bahrain on Friday morning; Everyone wants his share quickly and with the best quality. Recently, the conflict between the artificial intelligence platforms intensified, as an open battle in the old Manama market, everyone tries to dazzle customers to ensure their continued turnout.

The last blow to this competition was an exceptional update from Oben AI, which I launched just two days ago, which is the feature of converting the account from a public platform to a very personal smart account. This feature analyzes all previous user conversations, and extracts a deep context from it, to provide a unique personal experience for every user. Sam Altman, CEO of the company, described it as a “suddenly great advantage”, stressing that it is an exceptional step towards making artificial intelligence closer and understanding of the user, to the point of being able to identify your interests, your ideas and personal preferences over time.

It is more exciting when this feature is applied to common accounts, such as our downs in film accounts or delivery applications. Imagine that you wake up in the morning to ask for a description of your personality, and you find that it mixed your mother’s packages with your generosity and the speed of the anger of your co -worker. You will stand bewildered in front of a description that blends the contradictions as a chaotic artistic painting, but it is strangely charming!

Deeper than the mere ridicule, this development opens a serious door to discussion on the limits of privacy and the growing interaction of technology in our daily life. Here in Bahrain, we are witnessing increasing concern about the spread of technologies that may threaten the privacy of the user, especially with the increasing use of artificial intelligence applications in the banking, educational and health sectors. Fears related to the possibility of leaking personal data or using it in illegal ways are no longer far from our daily reality.

Despite fears, this development has another face that may be positive. We often talked about the threat of artificial intelligence of traditional functions, but this transformation could be an opportunity to create new and innovative job opportunities in Bahrain. For example, local educational institutions can launch training programs to prepare specialized cadres in managing and designing artificial intelligence systems, or creating digital personalities inspired by Bahraini heritage, which opens new cultural and economic horizons.

While browsing the technical news, I was postponed on a social media, a young man who used GAT GBT as a personal financial advisor; As it was sent to the application every financial transaction he carried out, so that the application would analyze it and provide immediate advice, until the situation reached his admiration, when he spent an unhappy manner. This story raises a question about the limits of artificial intelligence in our lives: Is it wise to give it all this authority to make our daily decisions?

The balance is always the solution. In Bahrain, we need to enhance societal awareness through awareness campaigns and educational programs, explaining how to take advantage of artificial intelligence without neglecting our privacy and personal freedoms. We have to deal with it as a smart tool that serves us and does not control us.

In conclusion, technical competition is positive and required, but the most important thing is how to actively invest it that serves our Bahraini society, and creates real opportunities to create a more aware and creative future. The world changes quickly, and the real challenge is our ability to adapt and benefit from this change in our favor.
