Osama Anas, the managing director of the Delta Egypt Group, revealed the fate of poultry prices in the market after the high prices of diesel today, Friday, from 13.5 to 15.5 pounds per liter.
He assured the Managing Director of the Delta Egypt Group, that the increase in diesel prices does not directly affect the prices of poultry, but it affects all the inputs of production because poultry is a live commodity based on supply and demand.
The fate of poultry prices after the rise in gasoline and diesel
He explained that the current period is witnessing poultry prices stabilizing in the market after the decline in the prices in the blessed Eid Al -Fitr, expecting that poultry prices will decline during the month of June due to the increase in production and the high demand for red meat in conjunction with the blessed Eid Al -Adha.
He stated that the consumption of poultry increased by 35% during the past month of Ramadan in the normal months, due to the tables of Rahman and determination, which led to the withdrawal of large quantities of stock, stressing that poultry producers began to compensate for the losses incurred by the sector in previous periods.
