Under the sponsorship of “Benfa” .. the participation of more than 100 students in the “Builder Cityhack”

“Benfa”, the leading company in the field of financial technology and the service of electronic financial transactions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced its sponsorship of the “Buildher Cityhack2025” event organized by the College of Engineering and Technology at the Royal University of Girls for two days, and targeted high school students, with the participation of a group of academics and specialists in the technical field.

The event witnessed the participation of more than 100 students from various secondary schools in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and also included training workshops and interactive sessions that focused on developing critical thinking skills, problem solving, and teamwork, in addition to encouraging participants to create realistic and sustainable solutions to modern challenges using modern tools and technologies.

The CEO of Banfta, Abdel Wahid Al -Janahi, said: “Our sponsorship of this educational Hakathon comes in an embodiment of our strategic vision in supporting young national talents and contributing to preparing a generation of distinguished women leaders and competencies capable of giving and creativity in a way that serves the achievement of the comprehensive development process goals and in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and we are in Banfts that we believe that enabling the female element in an early stage of The skills of the twenty -first century is a strategic investment that will reflect positively on the march of digital transformation in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is “Banft” an active and pivotal part of it.

In turn, the Acting Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology at the university, Dr. Hammam Al -Agha, that the “Buildher Cityhack2025” event embodies the college’s keenness to develop practical skills for female students, by employing creative thinking and adopting sustainable solutions to realistic problems, in line with the university’s vision in preparing qualified women’s cadres for active participation in the knowledge economy.
