The General Assembly of the Egyptian Olympic Committee approved the proposal of Eng. Yasser Idris, the head of the committee, to choose Eng. Sherif Al -Erian, President of the Egyptian Federation and Vice -President of the International Modern Federation, as an honorary general secretary of the committee, during the meeting of the General Assembly that was held on Friday morning, to approve the new board of directors of the Olympic Committee.

It is worth noting that in previous meetings, the General Assembly was chosen by: Dr. Hassan Mustafa as an honorary head of the committee, Dr. Alaa Jabr, Vice President of Sharafi, and Dr. Alaa Musharraf, a honorary member.
The General Assembly of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, which was held today, Friday, was unanimously, Eng. Yasser Idris, headed by the Egyptian Olympic Committee for the election cycle 2025-2029, won the victory of all members who are nominated in various positions within the structure of the Board of Directors.
Counselor Mohamed Mustafa was approved in the position of First Deputy Chairman of the Olympic Committee, and Dr. Ismail Shaker as the Vice -President of the Olympic Committee, and Major General Hazem Hosni won the position of Secretary General, and as the Assistant Secretary -General, Mohamed Mutee and Major General Sharif Al -Qumati won the position of treasurer of the Egyptian Olympic Committee.
In the membership of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, Mohamed Abdel -Maqsoud, Majdi Al -Lawzi, Ahmed Kamel, Ashraf Helmy, Ashraf Farhat, Mohamed Mahmoud, Tariq Al -Saeed, Amna Trabelsi, in addition to Aya Madani, the Permanent Member of the International Olympic Committee, and Ahmed Al -Jundi, Chairman of the Players Committee of the Egyptian Olympic Committee.
The General Assembly of the Egyptian Olympic Committee includes 31 members, with 30 Olympic Union and Voice for Parliament, Aya Madani, the Permanent Member of the International Olympic Committee.
