US President Donald Trump said that the first 100 days of his second term in the White House were very successful.
“I think we have achieved the first 100 presidential day.” Trump said in an interview with “Time” magazine.
In response to a question about the expansion of the president’s powers, Trump confirmed that he uses power only the way “planned from the beginning.”
On the previous day, “Decision Desk HQ” and the “Hill” newspaper showed a low rate of satisfaction with the US president to the lowest level since the beginning of his second term, amid economic difficulties and general criticisms. While a Reuters and IPSOS poll revealed on Wednesday that only 42% of Americans agree to President Trump’s performance in the economic field.
Regarding the third presidential term, which Trump spoke about, even though the American constitution prevents him from running again, three quarters of those who participated in the poll expressed the opinion that Trump should not run for the presidency again. 53% of the supporters of the Republican Party said that Trump should not seek a third term.
