Egyptian television and some private channels transmit the rituals of Friday prayers from the Al -Nasr Mosque in Al -Arish, North Sinai Governorate, as part of the governorate’s celebrations of the 43rd anniversary of the liberation of Sinai.

Friday prayer rituals are attended by Major General Khaled Mujawar, Governor of North Sinai, Major General Assem Saadoun, Deputy Governor, Major General Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Director of Security and Major General Osama Al -Ghandour, Secretary General of the Governorate and many security, executive and religious leaders in the governorate.
It is scheduled to recite the Qur’an on Friday, Sheikh Fathi Abdel Moneim Khalif, and the Ministry of Awqaf announced that the issue of Friday sermon is “the blessed land.”
In a related context, the Ministry of Awqaf announced the opening of about 8 mosques to replace and renew, today, Friday, bringing the total mosques that have opened since July 1, 2024 until now to 1306 mosques, including 880 mosques, replacement and renewal, and 426 maintenance and development mosques.
Endowments confirmed that the total of what was repaid, renewed, maintained and brushes since July 2014 amounted to 13387 mosques at a total cost of about 22 billion and 653 million pounds.
