To overcome any obstacles with restoration work .. The effects inspect the archaeological sites of the Giza Zoo

Dr. Jamal Mustafa, head of the Islamic and Coptic Antiquities Sector at the Supreme Council of Antiquities, inspected the archaeological sites of the Giza Zoo to overcome any obstacles to the work of restoration, in the context of the field follow -up of current projects.

The Department of Islamic and Coptic Antiquities Sector of the Supreme Council of Antiquities said, in a statement, that the restoration of archaeological places in the Giza Zoo came within the project to revive and develop the Zoo in Giza.

The Director of the Islamic and Coptic Antiquities Sector was accompanied by the engineers of the executing company, a group of archaeologists and restorers supervising the project, the project consultant and the royal authority.

Forming an operating room above antiquities to face bad weather

In another context, the Supreme Council of Antiquities formed a central operations room to confront the bad weather expected today, in light of the assignments of Sharif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, that the necessary measures should be taken to face any challenges that may result from bad weather.

Dr. Mohamed Ismail Khaled, Secretary -General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, explained that the Chamber will take the necessary organizational, insurance and precautionary measures, ensuring the safety of museums, archaeological sites, museums and visitors, which comes within the framework of the supervisory role of the Ministry represented in the Supreme Council of Antiquities.

He pointed out that all museum secretaries and archaeological inspectors are present in their workplace during the official working hours, and to follow any emergency that may be new.
