The Alexandria Governorate Operations Room received a notification this afternoon stating that a property consisting of a ground floor and three upper floors, located in 49 Al -Ghazali Street, was branched from Al -Saba Girls Street – Al -Labban District – Al -Jamrk neighborhood.

By examining the real estate file, it was found that it is located on an area of 70 square meters, from the load -bearing wall system and wooden ceilings, and a decision to demolish No. (14) of 2022 was issued.
The efforts of the rescue teams resulted in the rescue of three children from one family, and they were transferred to the Ras Al -Teen General Hospital to receive the necessary medical care, and the body of a woman who died from the rubble was recovered, and follow -up work is currently underway to ensure that the drug is free of any other cases.
In the same context, the Governor of Alexandria was charged with providing temporary housing for real estate injured, in coordination with the Social Solidarity Directorate, to move to him as soon as the hospital is discharged.
The Governor of Alexandria also ordered the formation of a specialized committee to determine the reasons for the collapse of the property and determine the cause of this, while taking the necessary measures to preserve lives and property in neighboring real estate.
