Activating commercial agreements for the Cronus field

The meeting dealt with a review of the position of the current projects of the company in Egypt and ways to improve and increase production rates in the Tanmia area of ​​Bakherouche, in which the company participates with Eni and BP, and discussed the plans of the targeted company during the coming period in light of the company’s expansion plans and its intention to pump more investments in the field of research and exploration in light of the new incentive package launched by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources recently.

The two sides also discussed the position of activating the commercial agreements of the Cypriot “Cronus” field and organized for the process of linking, transportation, processing, liquefaction and export, the results of technical studies and the project’s schedule against the background of the recent signing of the government’s host government’s agreement to link the Egyptian facilities, in partnership with the two companies Eni and Total Enemz, the two concessions in the field as the field development partners.

Engineer Karim Badawi stressed the interest of the Egyptian oil sector in enhancing cooperation with Total Enemz in the fields of research and exploration in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Eastern Mediterranean region and to benefit from the company’s modern technologies to detect new reservoirs for oil and gas in Egypt and the region.
