A member of the Reconciliation Committee in the village of Maabdah, affiliated to the Abnoub Center in Assiut Governorate, was killed after he was shot, against the backdrop of some parties to interfere with the reconciliation between them and the other opposing family.
They objected to his intervention for reconciliation between them.
According to security sources, the victim was working to end a conflict between the two families, but one of the parties refused to intervene, which led to the escalation of differences, and resulted in the result of a shooting that killed him.
The security forces moved to the site of the accident, where a security cordon was imposed, and the body was transferred to the hospital for the necessary examinations. The competent authorities also started their investigations to uncover the circumstances of the incident and control the perpetrators.
