Young national team officials send the final list to the players participating in the 2025 African Nations Cup, to be held in Egypt at the end of this April.
Egypt will host the African Youth Cup competitions during the period from April 27 to May 19, with the participation of 13 teams.

The Confederation of African Football, Kaf, receives the final list of the youth team participating in the Nations Cup, after all the players chosen to participate in the championship are subjected to a medical examination by the Football Association’s medical committee.
The medical committee confirmed that no player suffers from any injury that may affect his participation with the team in the tournament, before sending the final list to Kaf.
Egypt is competing with the tournament host, in the first group of the African U -20 Cup competitions, accompanied by: Zambia – Sierra Leone – South Africa – Tanzania.
The youth team under the leadership of Osama Nabih will play the opening match of the African U -20 Cup, against South Africa on April 27.
Details of the African Youth Nations Championship
The African Youth Cup of Nations Championship will be held with the participation of 13 teams, with 3 groups, so that each group includes 4 teams, except for the first group that includes 5 teams, led by Egypt.
The owners of the first and second places from each group qualify to the quarter -finals, in addition to the best teams from the third place.
According to the championship regulations, the results of the fifth place in the first group are excluded, then compared the results of the third place, to resolve the last two seats in the quarter -finals.
The first four centers in the championship will also qualify directly to the U -20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in Chile during the period from September 27 to October 1925, with the participation of 24 teams.
