US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement that the state of South Sudan has not respected the principle of the necessity of accepting each country the return of its citizens in time when another country, including the United States, seeks to deport them.
He added, “As of now, the US State Department is taking measures to cancel all visas carried by South Sudan passport holders and prevent the issuance of more of them to prevent their entry into the United States.”
He continued, “We will be ready to review these measures when South Sudan cooperates completely.”
