The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the United Arab Emirates announced the success of the exchange of prisoners between the United States of America and the Russian Federation, during which a Russian citizen and an American citizen were exchanged, in the presence of representatives of the concerned authorities from both countries.
The ministry expressed its thanks to the government of the United States of America and the Russian Federation for their confidence in the United Arab Emirates and their choice of Abu Dhabi as a site to complete the exchange process that took place in coordination between the United States of America and the Russian Federation.
The ministry said that the choice of Abu Dhabi to conduct the exchange process by the two countries reflects the close friendship relations that link them to the UAE, pointing out that these efforts will contribute to supporting efforts to reduce tension and enhance dialogue and understanding in a way that achieves security and stability at the regional and international levels.
