Khalaf Al -Zanati, the teacher of the teachers and head of the Arab Teachers Union, received today, Thursday, a delegation from the International Education Organization, which includes a number of representatives of international organizations interested in education, at the headquarters of the General Union in the island, to identify the electronic system in the administrative work, and the services provided by the union for the benefit of teachers.
The delegation visited the union’s headquarters, and included the various workplace halls, and the teachers club, and they also reviewed the mechanisms of the electronic system work to link the branches to the General Syndicate, as well as identifying the services provided by the union, for teachers, whether in service or pensions.
The delegation praised the pioneering role played by the Egyptian Syndicate in supporting education issues, especially in light of the challenges facing education systems in conflict areas, and they also praised the good organization and professional role of the union in serving its members.

The delegation included Magoina Malawiki, head of the International Educational Organization, David Edwards, Secretary -General of the International Education, Manal Hadifa, head of the Arab structure in the organization, and Dalila Al -Barhami, the regional coordinator, as well as a number of representatives of international educational organizations.
It is noteworthy that this visit comes within the activities of the seventh international conference hosted by the General Union of Educational Professions, entitled: Education in conflict areas – challenges and solutions – educational structure in the Arab countries, which was organized by the Eduction International, and concluded its activities yesterday in the presence of Mohamed Abdel Latif, the Egyptian Minister of Education, and with the wide participation of international delegations.
