The Supreme Council of Antiquities was a central operations room to confront bad weather conditions expected to happen today, in light of the assignments of Sharif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, that the necessary measures should be taken to face any challenges that might result from bad weather conditions.
In an official statement, Dr. Mohamed Ismail Khaled, Secretary -General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, explained that the Chamber will take all the necessary organizational, insurance and precautionary measures, in order to ensure the safety of museums, archaeological sites, museums and visitors, which comes within the framework of the Ministry’s supervisory role represented in the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
He pointed out that all museum secretaries and antiquities are present in their workplaces during the official working hours, and to follow any emergency that may be new.
All complaints related to citizens and tourists are received through the unified government complaints portal of the Council of Ministers or through what the Ministry’s hotline (19654) is working, which works to receive all complaints and proposals of visitors to the Egyptian tourism destination from Egyptians and tourists, in terms of the ministry’s keenness to provide ways and mechanisms to communicate with all visitors and tourists and to ensure the quality of the services provided to them.
