The Kingdom of Bahrain is witnessing a qualitative boom in the education sector and its outputs, and that was revealed by the technology summit whose activities were concluded last week in its first version under the slogan “Bahraini identity in the digital world – the role of education in preserving the roots”, from what the educational level in Bahraini schools has reached in the digital world that made it go in the knees of scientific progress, and that is what was demonstrated by the Bahrain Bayan School during the activities of the summit that opened it and included various programs from among them Innovative projects for their students in the field of artificial intelligence, digital applications, robots, etc., in addition to the discussion sessions in which people with stakeholders participated.
Digital technology has become an integral part of the elements of improving education outcomes, and developing school performance in the Kingdom, and this is what educational bodies in schools during these years in employing technology continuously and effectively in teaching methods, such as the use of computers and educational software to enhance interaction with students, as for the modern and innovative means used in the school, they are multiple of them that use computers to provide educational content Research and interaction with educational applications, in addition to educational software, where they provide interactive educational experiences and educational games that contribute to enhancing interaction and understanding. As for the virtual reality and the enhanced reality, it enables students to immerse in simulated educational experiences, and interactive screens are used to display educational content in an interactive and attractive manner.
The Kingdom of Bahrain spares no effort in intensifying its interest in innovations, creativity and scientific research, and harnessing its capabilities to encourage the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the education sector, and despite the capabilities provided by the Ministry of Education, those in charge of educational work are still looking to more, and this is what needs to develop the teacher’s capabilities and create the appropriate environment for him so that he can employ resources and sources of education technologies in the school environment and there is a lot of The honorable models in the educational field excelled in technical education and innovation with its own efforts.
The digital empowerment, which caused a remarkable progress in the education sector, remains a complement to the honorable previous achievements, with the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, and the directives of His Majesty in the inauguration of the future schools project in 2005, which contributed to achieving many distinguished success in the field of innovation and e -learning.
