Professor Lulwa Saleh Al -Awadi, Secretary -General of the Supreme Council for Women, received this morning at its office, Ambassador Dr. Youssef Abdel Karim Bojiri, Director General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights and Chairman of the Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the annual report of the Equal Opportunities Committee was reviewed for 2024, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs plan was discussed to equal opportunities and balance between the two years 2025-2026, in order to consolidate the principles and goals of equal opportunities on the ground. The committee’s most prominent projects and activities were also reviewed, and its role in supporting the application of gender balance standards to the Ministry’s employees inside and outside the Kingdom, in addition to presenting the gender balance indicators in the ministry.
The Secretary -General praised the efforts of the Chairman and members of the Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their active initiatives, confirming the support of the Supreme Council for Women for initiatives aimed at the progress of Bahraini women in the diplomatic field and enhancing their regional and international presence.
