The Secretary General of the Shura received the founding statement of the general secretariat network of the Parliamentary Dialogue Forum in “Rabat”

The general trustees participating in the founding meeting of the General Secretaries Network of the South Parliamentary Dialogue Forum, South, Mrs. Karima Muhammad Al -Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council to deliver the founding statement of the network, during the meeting held yesterday evening (Tuesday) in the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco, in the presence of a number of general trustees of Arab and African parliaments, and within the work of the third edition of the Parliamentary Dialogue Forum, which was organized by the Council of Advisors Moroccan, in cooperation with the Association of Senate and Shura Councils and similar councils in Africa and the Arab world.

The Secretary -General of the Shura Council delivered a statement of the establishment of the network, which included an explanation of the foundations, goals and principles on which the network is based, and the mechanisms of its work, where the network establishment initiative comes in the context of the dynamism of dialogue and cooperation between the countries of the south and constitutes a suitable framework for exchange, dialogue and discussing ways to develop the institutional performance of member councils.

The founding statement indicated that the network will be working through participatory mechanisms, as a consultative and coordination framework that establishes inter -cooperation, and devotes institutional integration as a lever of modern parliamentary diplomacy.

The statement pointed out that the establishment of this network aims to establish a regular institutional space for dialogue and exchange of experiences between the two public secretaries; And strengthening human and administrative competencies of legislative councils; And by developing joint initiatives to modernize parliamentary administration and enhance its effectiveness, in addition to contributing to strengthening advisory and research jobs for councils, and launching professional and formative programs directed to the higher administrative frameworks; In addition to providing bridges of cooperation with regional and international networks of common concern.
