Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, and the General Commissioner of the Kingdom of Bahrain, participated in the opening ceremony of the Expo 2025 Osaka, which was held today, Saturday, in the presence of Emperor Naruhito and Emperor Massako, along with Japanese Prime Minister Shikiro Ishiba, and about 1300 personalities of senior officials and diplomats from all over the world.
On Sunday, the Kingdom of Bahrain opens its national pavilion, “The seas”, which is located in the “improvement of life” area with an area of 995 square meters and a height of 13.7 meters distributed over four floors, and directly overlooks the orthoer interface.
The wing designed the Lebanese architect Lina Al -Ghatma, calling its visitors to go through an overwhelming sensual experience, interacting with the five senses through a series of exhibitions that weave the story of the kingdom with the sea, trade, crafts, industry, pearl, and the environment.
Expo 2025 Osaka is held with the slogan “Innovation of the Future to improve the life of societies”, with the participation of 160 countries. It is expected that the exhibition, which will last for 184 days until October 13, will receive more than 28 million visitors.
