The Faculty of Education at Luxor University announced the postponement of the activities of the first annual forum for procedural research, and the honoring of the artist Sameh Hussein, tomorrow, Thursday, at 7:30 pm, instead of today, Wednesday, due to the poor expected weather and dust storms that may strike the province.
The decision to postpone came in order to preserve the safety of the attendees and the participants, amid great preparations to resume the activities of the forum tomorrow, in the presence of a group of academics, artists and public figures, headed by the artist Sameh Hussein, who is a distinguished guest to highlight the role of art in supporting educational and societal values.
The artist Sameh Hussein has arrived in Luxor in preparation for participating in the forum, stressing that purposeful art is no less important than education in building human awareness, noting that Egypt needs today to inform and art that rise to public taste and contribute to building conscious generations.

For his part, Eng. Abdel Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, valued the participation of the artist Sameh Hussein in the forum, stressing that his honor by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi for his last Ramadan program represents an official appreciation of the fine art that serves society.
He stressed that conscious art is a soft power equivalent to other sectors of development, and it has a direct return that we see in our villages and cities.
The governor had received the artist Sameh Hussein and Dr. Walid Abdullah, Dean of the College of Education, in his office at the Governorate General Court, where a friendly discussion took place on the importance of employing art in supporting education, and Sameh Hussein praised the warm reception, and the efforts made by the governor to reach citizens and interact with their issues.
It is noteworthy that the Forum of College of Education at Luxor University is held under the title of Research and Practices, and aims to support procedural research among graduate students, and to address educational challenges through interactive workshops and lectures.
