The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Angel of Amwaj Central Islands Union, Representative Ahmed Sabah Al -Salloum, announced the postponement of the date of the annual general assembly meeting for the year 2025, which was scheduled to be held this evening, Thursday, April 17, 2025, due to the incomplete quorum.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors said in an official statement that the new meeting will be held next Thursday, April 24, 2025, at five o’clock in the evening, at the “The Art” hotel and resort in Amwaj Islands, and according to the regulations in force in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the postponed meeting will be held by the attendees of the members without the need to complete the quorum.
The agenda of the next general assembly includes a set of pivotal topics that aim to enhance the quality of life in the islands and achieve more benefits for owners and population. Among the most prominent of these topics is the adoption of the estimated budget for the year 2025, and the review of the financial performance for the past year, within a framework of transparency and commitment to the accredited financial standards.
A comprehensive development plan to improve the infrastructure and services will be presented, which includes strengthening the security system, modernizing the sewage station, improving public streets, and increasing the green area throughout the islands, and these initiatives come in the context of the union’s keenness to raise the level of comfort and the quality of living for the residents of Amwaj Islands and enhance their attractiveness as a high urban society.
During the meeting, a new mechanism will be discussed to calculate the annual services fees for real estate overlooking the waterfront, in a way that achieves justice in costs and takes into account the differences between real estate, and the agenda also includes authorizing the union to complete organizational measures aimed at developing common parts, and investing accumulated reserves in projects that benefit everyone, such as acquiring real estate and converting them into joint public facilities that serve the residents of Amwaj Islands.
The Amwaj Islands is one of the most prominent modern real estate development projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and it is located in the northeastern Kingdom near the coast of Muharraq Island.
