Rawan bint Naguib Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, Baroneh Patricia Scotland, member of the UK’s Lords Council, the former Secretary -General of the Commonwealth Organization.
During the meeting, the Minister of Youth Affairs in Barouna Patricia Scotland welcomed the strong relations that link the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom in various fields and sectors, including the youth sector, noting that the Ministry of Youth Affairs is keen to benefit from successful international youth experiences by reviewing the efforts of various international organizations and institutions with experience in the youth field.
For its part, Baroneh Patricia Scotland expressed its great appreciation for the great efforts made by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of supporting and empowering youth, praising the qualitative initiatives launched by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, which reflects the Kingdom’s firm commitment to enhancing the role of youth in various development paths at the local and international levels.
The meeting also dealt with the exchange of visions and ideas on promoting youth work, and discussing a number of initiatives and projects aimed at empowering young people and expanding their active participation in various fields.
