Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, left today, Tuesday, April 22, 2025, heading to the sisterly State of Kuwait, to participate in a number of important educational and research events, in the context of Egypt’s support for regional and international cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research.
The Minister of Higher Education leaves to Kuwait to participate in the QS Summit
The minister will participate in the closing session of the “QS Higher Education: Middle East 2025”, which is hosted by the Gulf University of Science and Technology in Kuwait during the period from 20 to 22 April, with the participation of a group of international officials, experts, universities representatives and international classification institutions.
Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour also gives an opening speech on the “Egyptian Knowledge Bank – International”, within the activities of the fifty -seventh general conference of the Arab Universities Universities, which is held at the International University of Science and Technology during the period from 23 to 24 April, under the slogan: “Arab higher education in light of digital transformation and enhancing regional integration.”
The Minister also participates in a dialogue session within the conference sessions, on the role of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and regional expansion, with the participation of representatives of more than 250 Arab universities, in the framework of supporting Arab integration in the fields of education, scientific research and the exchange of academic experiences.
This conference is a major forum that brings together the heads of Arab universities, to discuss urgent issues facing higher education institutions, reviewing the mechanisms of developing education in the light of digital transformation, enhancing regional cooperation opportunities, and keeping pace with global developments in the areas of teaching, learning and innovation.
This participation comes within the framework of Egypt’s strategy to enhance international presence in educational forums, and to expand the scope of cooperation between Egyptian universities and their counterparts in the Arab world, and to emphasize Egypt’s pioneering role in developing higher education and scientific research regionally and internationally.
During the visit, Dr. Jenna Al -Fiqi, Acting President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, General Supervisor of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, and Eng. Majid Al Sadiq, Acting Head of the National Network for Scientific and Technological Information and the Secretary -General of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
