Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, emphasized that the Kingdom of Bahrain is moving forward towards achieving more achievements and aspirations for the help of its loyal children who are distinguished and resolved by the paths of development in various sectors in order to support the goals of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and the follow -up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad May God protect him.
This came when meeting a number of national cadres working in the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, which were concerned with a number of strategic projects in cooperation and coordination with ministries and government agencies, including preparing a draft law to adopt the general budget of the state for the two financial years 2025 and 2026, where His Excellency praised constructive cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities, stressing the ministry’s keenness to continue to enhance cooperation and coordination with the legislative authority to ensure the completion of a law The state’s general budget for the two years 2025 – 2026, which contributes to pushing the wheel of economic development towards more progress and prosperity. Pointing out the need for concerted efforts to achieve the desired goals and aspirations, pointing to the constant keenness to achieve more development achievements whose positive impact is reflected in the interest of the country and citizens, and that the achievements and successive successes that have been achieved is a product of constructive cooperation and joint coordination between the two authorities and work in the spirit of one team.
Pointing out that the Ministry of Finance and National Economy is committed to harnessing all efforts to achieve the goals that were set at the preparation of the state’s general budget with various government agencies, with all efficiency and professionalism to ensure the implementation of the budget in accordance with national priorities and meet the needs of citizens, taking into account the continued achievement of economic growth, maintaining financial sustainability, enhancing the efficiency of spending, and stimulating investment.
The Minister also praised the efforts of the government team from various government agencies in preparing the budget and joint coordination, and the dedicated work to ensure the preparation of a transparent and realistic budget based on the best global practices.
