The Israeli army bombed, at dawn today, Sunday, the Arab Al -Ahli Hospital (Baptist) in the center of Gaza City, after he issued warnings and requested that it be evacuated from patients.
Media in the Gaza Strip reported that two missiles had hit a building inside the hospital after a short period, during which the Israeli army requested that the hospital be evacuated.
The bombing targeted the two -storey operations building, which contains the surgery department, an oxygen station and the intensive care department.
Palestinian citizens reported that they received contacts from the Israeli army, asking them to evacuate the hospital in preparation for the bombing of a building.
As a result, the medical crews began to evacuate patients from the hospital, as the majority of patients were discharged to the streets near it without a clear destination.
There are no alternative hospitals in Gaza City capable of receiving the evacuated patients, especially after the Israeli army destroyed the Shifa Hospital in Gaza, during the city’s invasion.
The Al -Ahli Arab Hospital (Baptist) turned into a main hospital in the northern Gaza regions, as it receives patients and injured from Gaza City, and from the northern Gaza Strip areas where the Israeli army destroyed the main Kamal Adwan Hospital.
