Dr. Asim Al -Jazzar, head of the National Front Party, accompanied by Mr. Al -Qusayr, Secretary -General of the party, made a visit to Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and the Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, at the papal headquarters of the St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbasiya.

The visit comes within the framework of the party’s keenness to enhance the values of national brotherhood, communicate with various religious and national symbols, emphasize the unity of the national class, and the position of the Egyptian Church as one of the main pillars in building society.
During the meeting, the party leader expressed his great appreciation for the national and historical role played by the Egyptian Church in supporting the stability of the country and consolidating the principles of coexistence and tolerance, and stressed the importance of continuing cooperation between all national forces in order to support the process of development and construction.
For his part, His Holiness, Pope Tawadros II, welcomed the visit, praising this initiative, which reflects the spirit of love, openness and mutual appreciation, noting that Egypt’s strength is in its unity and the cohesion of its people in its various spectrums.
