Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, the governor of Beni Suef, witnessed, on Saturday evening, the Glorious Day of the Holy Day prayer in Baytaniya, and he was received by His Eminence Stephanos, Bishop of Baba and its dependencies, in the presence of a group of fathers, priests, priests, and tranquility, and participation from the scout teams affiliated with the arrangement in organizing the entry of the attendees.

The Mass was attended by a number of executive, security and military leaders, among them: Bilal Habash, Deputy Governor, Major General Osama Jumaa, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Beni Suef Security, Major General Hazem Mohamed Ezzat, Secretary General, Major General Sami Allam, Assistant Secretary -General, Brigadier General Mohamed Bari, the military advisor to the governorate, and Brigadier General Ahmed Mohamed Hussein, commander of Beni Suef Air Force Base, in addition to Ahmed Desouki, Director of the Governor’s Office, Among the members of the House of Representatives and the elders, and the Islamic clerics are members of the Egyptian family’s house, leaders of Al -Azhar and Endowments, representatives of parties, civil society and media, and the people of the Baba Center.
The governor was keen to congratulate the Christian brothers on this occasion, expressing his hope that all the Egyptian people will be happy, and that God bless our homeland with security, stability and prosperity under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi.
The Mass was chaired by His Eminence Stephanos, who started his speech by welcoming the governor and the leaders accompanying him, praising their keenness to attend and participate, which reflects the spirit of love and national unity among the Egyptian people, valuing at the same time the state’s efforts in supporting development and promoting security and stability.
St. Stephanos dealt in his sermon the importance of hope, noting that a person bears pain and suffering with his faith, and that referring to God is the true way of peace and eternal happiness, criticizing the concentration of the self that leads to the distance from the love of God.
It is scheduled that Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim will later go to the Archdiocese Church in the city of Beni Suef, to congratulate His Eminence, Bishop of Beni Suef, and participate in the glorious holiday of the Easter, and congratulate the attendees of the province’s sons of the Christian brothers on this blessed occasion.
