Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, the governor of Beni Suef, signed a triple cooperation protocol to connect the sewage service to the village of Manharo in the Ihnasia Center, as part of the national project to connect sanitation services to the community participation system, at a total cost exceeding 118 million pounds, to serve about 14 thousand people.
Protocol between the province and drinking water and sanitation
The signing of the protocol between the governorate, the drinking water and sanitation company, and the Nahdet Beni Suef Foundation, came within the framework of implementing the directives of the political leadership to expand the umbrella of sanitation projects in the disadvantaged villages, and to activate the role of civil society in supporting sustainable development efforts.
A number of executive and popular leaders and civil society representatives participated in the signing ceremony, in the presence of Dr. Ali Badr, Member of the House of Representatives, Major General Hazem Ezzat, Secretary -General, Eng.
The governor stressed the importance of the project, which reflects the success of the active partnership model between the government and civil society in improving the level of basic services for citizens, praising the role of the Nahdet Beni Suef Foundation in supporting infrastructure projects and providing support to the first categories of care.
For its part, Eng. Dina Omar explained that the project will be implemented according to the highest quality standards, stressing that cooperation between state institutions and civil society is an inspiring model in achieving integrated development.
Dr. Ashraf Farouk pointed out that the project comes as a culmination of fruitful cooperation with the executive bodies, while Walid Hussein, the CEO of the Foundation, pointed out that the project includes an upload station and an expulsion line with a length of 4000 meters and a declaration network of 14000 meters long, explaining that Managro is the third village in the republic levels that are included in the national sanitation project with community participation Pasta.
The protocol explained that the National Drinking Water Authority will finance the implementation of the lifting station and the expulsion line of 58 million pounds, while the Nahdet Beni Suef Foundation will ensure 60 million pounds to cover the rest of the project components, while the villagers contributed to providing the necessary land for the project, and the water company will supervise and review, while the governorate takes the issuance of licenses and overcoming obstacles.
