Next Sunday, the fifth edition of the International Diplomatic Program “Hosting”, organized by the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, will start during the period from April 6 to 20, 2025, and the program will host in its current version 23 diplomats and diplomats from a number of brotherly and friendly countries.
On this occasion, Dr. Sheikha Munira Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Academy, expressed the keenness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its interest in continuing to organize this diplomatic program, stressing that the fifth edition of the “Hospitality” program comes as a continuation of the goals and successes achieved in the past years, adding that the program is considered one of the unique programs in creating an open dialogue environment between diplomats from different countries of the world, promoting cooperation and partnerships International between the foreign ministries, institutes and diplomatic academies in brotherly and friendly countries, and giving the opportunity to the participants in the program to get acquainted closely at the legacy of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Bahraini culture, and to identify its future, political and development goals through direct meetings with senior officials in the Kingdom.
The program includes a definition of the participants on the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields, through identification tours, field visits and cultural events. The “hospitality” program also includes a series of lectures and workshops that cover a number of political, diplomatic and economic issues, in order to create an integrated training program from the academic and applied sides.
It should be noted that a hospitality program is one of the winning ideas in the government innovation competition (idea) in its first edition in 2018. In its previous version, 91 diplomats from 47 different countries participated in the program.
