Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received at the Ministry’s headquarters today, a delegation from the American Congress, which included Senator Johnny Ernst, a member of the Senate, and Ms. Deby Schultz, a member of the House of Representatives, on the occasion of the delegation’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the historical friendship and the close strategic partnership that links the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America were discussed, and the development and development it witnesses in all fields, and ways to enhance it in the service of interests and mutual aspirations.
The views of the current regional situation, the Arab and international efforts aimed at bringing the comprehensive peace in the Middle East, and maintaining regional security and stability, were also exchanged, in addition to discussing issues into common concern.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khaled Youssef Al -Jalahma, Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations, Stephen Craig Bondi, the US ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Salman Hassan Al -Jalahma, Head of the American Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
