Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the White House headquarters in the American capital, Washington, today, with Morgan Ortigos, Vice President of the Middle East Special Envoy for the American government, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States of America.
During the meeting, the close historical friendship between the two friendly countries was discussed, and ways to enhance the aspects of joint bilateral cooperation and coordination at all levels.
The views have also been exchanged regarding the developments of the situation in the Middle East region, regional conflicts, and its repercussions on regional security and stability, regional and international efforts aimed at reducing tension and escalation, and replacing comprehensive peace in the region and the world, in addition to a number of issues of common concern on the regional and international arenas.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Talal Abdel Salam Al -Ansari, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Saeed Abdel -Khaleq Saeed, Head of the Coordination and Follow -up Sector.
