Bakr said during televised statements: The first thing that workers reported the arrival of the minister, I went directly to him and welcomed him, and Osama Al -Bassiouni was behind Minister Mohamed Abdel -Latif, accompanied by the Deputy Minister.
Bakr explained that he accompanied the minister on an inspection tour in the classroom, and after its completion, the minister asked to take a group photo with the workers, noting that he praised the rates of attendance and the cleanliness of the school, and the late Osama Al -Bassiouni was not present at the time of taking the photo.
And Abizaid: After leaving the minister, we received a call stating that Osama Al -Bassiouni was transferred to intensive care, after which he died, and I immediately went to the hospital with a number of colleagues, then we later returned to the school .. The late did not speak with the minister during the visit, and he was in a side conversation with the deputy minister only, and everyone who was present can confirm this.
The headmaster concluded his speech by confirming that Al -Bassiouni was loved by his colleagues, and enjoyed high morals and respectful communication with all the workers in the school, and the news circulating about his exposure to any taunting or reprimand during the visit that has no basis for health, and that he did not hear any dialogue between the Minister of Education and the late, commenting: I swear to God if there is a need I would say.
