During its session held in the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Disciplinary Council of Accounts decided to fined one of the accounts of seven thousand Bahraini dinars, because he violated the provisions of Decree Law No. (15) of 2021 regarding the external accounts.

The decision came based on reports submitted by the Ministry of Corporate Control Department, which revealed that the office committed a number of professional violations, including the breach of the principles of the profession and the responsibilities assigned to it, and its reports include false information and contradiction to reality, which led to a destruction of confidence in the financial centers of a number of companies.

The reports also showed that there are errors in the final accounts, and the insufficient documents in the audit files, in addition to violating international standards for international scrutiny and international standards to prepare and display financial statements, and other violations that offend the dignity of the profession. In this context, the Ministry of Industry and Trade affirmed that it will take all necessary legal and administrative measures against any auditing office proven to be committed to legal or professional violations, stressing its complete keenness to protect the rights of customers and all parties concerned with the audited financial reports.
