The Quesna Center in Menoufia Governorate witnessed a tragic accident, as a father and son were killed while they were excavating antiquities inside a house.

Major General Mahmoud Al -Kamouni, Director of Menoufia Security, had received a notification from Brigadier Nabil Muslim, the chief of the Quesna Police Station, stating that two people were reported to be killed during the drilling in search of antiquities in one of the villages of the center.
And immediately a security force led by Major Gamal Abdel -Azim, head of the center’s investigations, moved immediately to inspect the accident site and uncover its circumstances.
It turned out that the deceased are Father A. P. E, 55 years old, and his son. P. P. E, 30, when they breathed their last during the excavation attempts, and the two bodies were transferred by the ambulance to the hospital at the disposal of the investigation authorities that started the investigation.
The security force edited a report of the incident and notified the investigation authorities to conduct investigations and take the necessary legal measures against the accident.
