The youth team, led by its coach, Osama Nabih, is preparing for its second confrontation in the African Nations U -20 Cup, which will be hosted by Cairo until May 18.

Egypt will face its Sierra Leone counterpart, at nine o’clock in the evening, Cairo time, next Wednesday, April 30, in the second round of the first group of the tournament, on the ground of the new Suez Canal Authority stadium in Ismailia.
Egypt is seeking to win in its second confrontation in the championship, in order to put foot and a half in the second round and qualify early from the first group, hoping to reach the semi -finals to reserve a seat in the 2025 World Youth Cup in Chile.
The Egypt Group in the championship, which is the first group, includes five teams, which are Egypt, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Zambia and Tanzania, so that the first and the second qualify directly, to the best teams of the third place teams in the three groups.
The youth team won a goal against South Africa at the opening of the African Nations U -20 Championship in the match they gathered in Cairo Stadium.
The youth team settled as a result of its first match in the nations of Africa by beating its guest South Africa, with a goal scored by Mohamed Abdullah in the second half.
The match began in a balanced manner amid a desire not to receive any goals, before South Africa opened its lines, captures the stadium and threatens the Pharaohs goal in more than one dangerous ball.
