The closure of two unlicensed clinics … and monitoring violations of private hospitals in Beni Suef

The Free Treatment Department of the Health Directorate in Beni Suef carried out an inspection campaign on private medical facilities, which resulted in passing 15 hospitals and clinics, and monitored a number of violations, which included the editing of 9 warnings for not adhering to the policy of infection control, in addition to editing a closing record of two clinics operating without a license.

The campaign came in implementation of the directives of Dr. Mohamed Hani Ghoneim, the governor of Beni Suef, of the need to intensify control over health facilities to ensure the quality of the medical services provided, and to ensure their commitment to health and legal requirements.

The Governor also stressed the importance of the continuation of these campaigns, and to prepare periodic reports to monitor the level of discipline and take the necessary measures against violators.

According to the report of the Health Directorate, prepared by Dr. Samah Jad, Undersecretary, the Free Treatment Department, led by Dr. Ahmed Abdel -Azim, was assigned to pass through private medical facilities during the days of Eid, to follow up the presence of doctors and the availability of health requirements, and to ensure licenses to practice the profession.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health confirmed that the Directorate continues to implement its supervisory plan on private medical facilities, in coordination with the relevant authorities, to control any violations that may affect the health of citizens, noting that the inspection campaigns include following up the requirements of infection control, the availability of safety standards, and the extent of establishments commitment to the laws regulating work in the medical sector.

She also stressed the need for all medical facilities to adhere to regulations and regulations, and not to employ any medical entities without a license, in order to preserve the health of patients and ensure the provision of safe medical services.

She explained that the directorate will continue to receive citizens ’complaints about any violations in the health sector, and deal with it immediately to take the necessary legal measures against violators.
