The CEO of the Information and E-Government Authority, Mr. Mohamed Ali, the leader, held a number of meetings with representatives of the international organizations, on the sidelines of participation in the work of the e-government workshop in the Middle East and North Africa region 2025, held in the capital, Doha, during the period from 23-24 April, with the aim of strengthening relations and discussing digital cooperation opportunities.
The leader of Mr. Danny Wazen met the head of the digital transformation team at the United Nations Development Program at the Regional Office of the Arab States, where the two sides discussed the fields of cooperation and coordination in building capabilities and development capabilities for human resources in the areas of industrial intelligence, and discussed the importance and impact of industrial intelligence on small and medium enterprises in the economic system.
The CEO of the Information and E -Government Authority, Mr. Mohamed Ali, the leader of Mr. Horton Mayer, also met an academic colleague and e -government advisor at the United Nations University. During the meeting, they reviewed the opportunities for cooperation and benefiting from the advisory and academic experiences applied in the field of improving the experience of users, which would support the government efforts made to provide services that contribute to gaining satisfaction and approval of citizens and residents, and the two sides also discussed joint cooperation to contract and organize development workshops that contribute and support the identification of the last and best global practices in the field of improving the experience of users and their application on the ground.
After that, the leader held a meeting with Mr. Hunt Laccia, a first specialist in digital development of the World Bank, and during the meeting a number of issues of common concern were discussed, including reviewing opportunities to benefit from the transfer of Bahrain technical experiences and expertise in the fields of governance and strategic projects, and during the meeting was also highlighted on the developed identity card that the Information Authority and the e -government recently, its advantages and security characteristics as well On the review of the system of system and application of the electronic key developed 2.0, which gives users an experience to enter the unified entry to the services provided by the public and private sectors by approving the bumi and without the need to enter the password.
