Ahmed Abdullah bin Hindi, President of the Bahraini Businessmen Association, stressed the strength of the bilateral relations that bring together the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan at various levels and the importance of strengthening trade and investment cooperation between the two sides, especially in the promising economic sectors in order to develop the volume of inter -trade between the two friendly countries.
This came during a meeting with the members of the Bahraini Businessmen Association with His Excellency Ambassador Thaqab Raouf, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the presence of Abdul Hakim Al -Shammari, Vice President, Nabil Ajour, Secretary of the Secretary, Mazen Al -Shihabi Al -Munasi, and Mohamed Sajid, a member of the Board of Directors.
At the beginning of the meeting, the two parties affirmed at the level of commercial and economic relations that bring together the two friendly countries and the growth and prosperity they witness in light of the mutual keenness to consolidate them at all levels.
Bin Hindi reviewed the role of the Bahraini Businessmen Association in strengthening trade relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Pakistan, expressing the association’s aspiration to attract more Pakistani investments to the Kingdom of Bahrain in order to increase the horizons of inter -trade between the two sides through the establishment of more joint investment projects and entry into commercial alliances that contribute to opening new investment horizons for the private sector, especially in the industrial sectors, energy, mining, foodstuffs and agricultural products under opportunities The promising investment in both countries and the distinguished economic environment provided by the Kingdom of Bahrain and the many facilities it gives to investors.
For his part, Ambassador Thaqab Raouf, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, praised the distinguished strategic relations between the two friendly countries, stressing his country’s keenness to enhance and develop friendship relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain and push them towards new horizons in a way that serves the common interests of the two sides, noting the size of promising investment opportunities available, especially in the food security sector, textiles and leather products.
