Syrian media said today, Thursday, that the Public Security Department arrested a member of the “National Defense” militia, who was previously working as a war correspondent in its ranks.
She added that the arrest was carried out during a security raid in the Al -Tadamun neighborhood, south of the capital, Damascus, where he was seized in possession of a quantity of ammunition and photo equipment.
Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab announced a number of ideas and plans that the ministry will work on in the coming days.
The Minister of the Interior said: “By the grace of God, we ended a coup project that was prepared by a group of regime officers and has become from the past, with the efforts of our forces and our people.”
He added, “It was agreed to develop the administration concerned with pursuing outlaws, by enhancing coordination with other security authorities in the ministry, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of security and stability.”
