Within the framework of the activities of Umm Kulthum, which was announced by the Ministry of Culture on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the departure of Planet of the East, the Egyptian Opera House, headed by Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, organizes a ceremony within the series of Kulthumat presented by the Abdel Halim Noira Arab Music Ensemble led by Maestro Salah Ghobashi, at 8 pm on Sunday, April 13, at the theater of the Arab Music Institute.

In another context, the Aswan International Women Film Festival revealed its ninth session, which is held from 2 to 7 May 2025, which bears the name of the Planet of the East, Umm Kulthum, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the departure of the most influential woman in the Middle East and the Arab region during the last hundred years, and the poster designer, the artist Hisham Ali, spoke in a press release details of the poster, where he explained that he sought to present a poster that reflects the cinematic and artistic spirit of Umm Kulth Because it is an exceptional character in the history of Arab music, and it has not been repeated throughout history, and the design of the poster depends on the Conceptual Art style, which combines different elements in a creative way to communicate the main idea, which is to celebrate Umm Kulthum in the context of the art of cinema.
