The Senegalese Calido Coulibaly, Al -Hilal club defender, was subjected to a sharp criticism, in light of its decline in its levels during the recent period, whether in the Saudi Roshen League competitions or the AFC Champions League.
The criticism increased after Al -Hilal left the quarter -finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup in front of Al -Ittihad, in addition to losing the league’s lead in favor of the same team, which sparked widespread controversy over the performance of some players, most notably Coulibaly.
In this context, sports journalist Khaled Al -Qahtani attacked Coulibaly’s performance during his speech in the “run” podcast, noting that the Senegalese defender does not provide the expected level, stressing that there are better local defenders than him.
He added: “It is unacceptable that Hassan Timbakti sit on the bench, while Coulibaly has the opportunity to participate, despite not providing the required addition.”
Al -Qahtani also criticized the exclusion of the Brazilian Caio from the list, considering that he is a distinguished player, and it is not permissible to be excluded in favor of Coulibaly.
Al -Qahtani concluded his statements to invite coach Jorge Jesus to give local players greater opportunities, especially in light of the decline in the performance of some foreign professionals.
