Major General Abdel -Fattah Siraj, the governor of Sohag, held today, Tuesday, the weekly public meeting at the Governorate’s General Court, in the presence of a number of ministries agents, heads of directorates and the relevant executive bodies.

The meeting witnessed a great demand from citizens from various centers, cities and villages of the governorate, as requests varied between providing job opportunities, receiving treatment at the expense of the state, obtaining social assistance, and pensions of “solidarity and dignity”, as well as requests related to the establishment of stalls and the provision of housing units, support for persons with disabilities, in addition to facilitating reconciliation procedures for construction violations.
The governor stressed during the meeting that the rapid response to the needs of citizens comes at the forefront of the priorities of the executive work in the governorate, noting that immediate complaints are dealt with, coordination with the competent authorities to study them and take the necessary action towards them, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to improve the quality of services provided to citizens and build bridges of confidence with them.
