The Secretary General of the House of Representatives explained that the Council headed by Ahmed bin Salman Al -Muslim, Speaker of the House of Representatives, presented a pioneering model in the use of artificial intelligence, where a group of projects aimed at developing parliamentary work and increasing its efficiency, and these initiatives include digital transformation in the management of the sessions, and the development of electronic systems that allow deputies to follow up on business schedules, and see the parliamentary documents in a digital manner, which contributes to accelerating procedures and reducing accreditation On paper. In addition, artificial intelligence projects that support decision-making and data analysis were developed, as Ahmed bin Salman Al-Muslim, Speaker of the House of Representatives, launched a parliamentary projects plan in the field of digital transformation and artificial intelligence 2025-2026, which includes 4 main goals and 20 qualitative projects, and an expanded plan of work aimed at implementing 8 parliamentary projects in artificial intelligence, and 30 electronic services.
The Secretary General of the House of Representatives briefed the general secretaries of the national parliaments on the projects of the parliamentary plan for digital transformation, including: “The MP platform”, along with my platforms, “Parliamentary Adviser, Digital Legal”, the application of “deputies” that works on smartphones, the “smart researcher” project, with the implementation of the audio summary projects “podcast”, the information platform, the digital analysis session, and the platform “Data”.
He pointed out that the House of Representatives will remain committed to pushing the digital innovation in parliamentary work, and we will strive to employ artificial intelligence to achieve more transparency and efficiency in the legislative process, as it is a strategic step towards building a more advanced and partnership parliamentary society with citizens.
